You will find this gem of a large, spacious and comfortable villa offering luxurious accommodation situated in an area of outstanding beauty in the Subbetica National Park approximately 50 miles north of Malaga. It is set in acres of olive groves and within minutes of the beautiful lake of Andalucia. It is the perfect setting for soaking up life here in the “real spain”. It offers spacious accommodation for 4/6 people Stunning views stretch toward the mountains of Malaga to the south and the Sierra Nevada to the east with olive groves and mountains surrounding the house in all directions.

The villa has a central courtyard with a raised and shaded terrace, water feature and planted troughs. There are many shaded areas with tables and chairs for outside dining.

Upon entering the grounds you are immediately welcomed by the impressive 8m x 4m swimming pool. There is also an outdoor shower and a large barbeque.

Upstairs is an air conditioned master bedroom, incorporating a living area with wood-burner, TV/DVD/Digibox, ceiling fan and a south facing balcony offering unspoilt views of the surrounding countryside, twin bedroom with ceiling fan, and family bathroom.

Downstairs via an impressive spiral staircase there is a large open plan area comprising the kitchen, dining room and lounge with open fireplace and ceiling fan. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, double sink, microwave, toaster, glassware and crockery. Plastic plates and cups are also provided for use outside near the swimming pool. The lounge includes an open fire and TV/DVD/Digibox and a Radio/CD player. There is also an adjoining utility room with a second fridge, sink, toilet, separate entrance and ample storage. There are two sets of double doors from the kitchen to the top pool terrace with a shaded built-in dining table and a shaded seating area backing directly onto the olive grove. All terraces and the central courtyard are amply lit.

All bedrooms have ample built-in shelves and there is a built-in wardrobe in the Master Bedroom.

There are laundry facilities in the utility room.

At pool level there is a thatched built-in dining area and a thatched shaded lounging area with cushions. There is also ample room around the pool for sunloungers.

There is also a store next to the utility room for chairs, tables, spare gas bottles, inflatable pool toys etc. The house and gardens are designed to maximise opportunities to be outside for eating al fresco and relaxing.

Throughout the property there are numerous table and chairs for eating and relaxing outside and enough sunloungers to cater for everyone. There is also access to a gas BBQ.


Electric wall panel heaters are installed providing that extra warmth for those cooler months.

The house will be cleaned and prepared for the guests and there will be a further clean mid-break if required, the swimming pool is cleaned twice per week.

Towels for the house are provided and we ask you to bring your own beach and swimming towels.

A Welcome pack is provided usually comprising of:

Bread, Water, Milk, Ham, Cheese, Fruit, Crisps, Beer, Wine, Dishwasher tablets and Washing up liquid.

A pre-arrival supermarket shop can be arranged for guests in readiness for their arrival if they provide a list and pre-payment with their booking. This will be delivered to the house and unpacked shortly before arrival.

Facilities such as child's high chair can be arranged.

The British property manager lives locally and is available at any time to deal with your possible queries and offer any advice you may require. They can also arrange the following services to make your stay in this beautiful villa even more memorable.

  • Horseriding at Salinas– The local stables in only 20 minutes away. Book anything from an hours trek to a whole days riding on beautiful Spanish horses over rolling countryside. Pre-booking necessary. Contact us for further details.


There is a hamlet within 5 minutes drive with a local store and a bar. The town of Iznajar is a 10 minute drive away and has more comprehensive facilities. The larger town of Rute is less than 15 minutes drive and the furniture-making town of Lucena with a large range of shops and superstores (including Carrefour) is a 30 minute drive. Also within half an hour is the Roman city of Antequera.


The villa is located in a rural olive-growing region between the historic and cultural cities of Granada, Seville and Corboda. Located in the central area between these three iconic treasures, the villa, on the outskirts of the traditional Andalusian town of Iznajar is ideally placed to explore not only these important landmark cities but also to enjoy the tranquil splendour of the olive-growing countryside and the coastal villages and historic towns of Andalucia, typically reachable within less than an hour’s drive. There are good beaches at Nerja, La Herradura, Torrox and Torre del Mar.

Marbella, Fuengirola and Puerto Banus lie between 1 and 2 hours drive. Both Granada and Cordoba are an hour away.

A refundable £200.00 security deposit is required upon arrival.
