Casita Gorda is situated near to Iznajar, a beautiful 'white pueblo' with a 32km lake. It is only 1 hour from Malaga airport or 45 mins from Granada airport. Next to a small Spanish smallholding and in the Subbetica National Park, Casa Gorda sits above and separate from the village but its situation ensures that you feel part of rural life where the sun governs the day, from cock's crow to siesta and beyond. A bar/restaurant and shop are within 10 minutes walking distance and Iznajar's wide sandy beach is just 10 minutes by car.

Next to the pool is a spacious, gated terrace with large table, chairs, loungers, sun umbrellas and barbecue. The large pool (8 x 4m, depth from 1.1m to 1.8m) with steps at the shallow end. Poolside shower. Electric lamps light the pool terrace at night. There is a selection of lilos, floats and games to play in the pool. A great success in 2009 was the new poolside bathroom containing a hot/cold shower, toilet, basin and storage facilities. Outside is a second poolside terrace with sail shade and a fridge for those chilled drinks to sustain you while you relax by the pool.
