The Province of Granada ...
Spain is a country steeped in history and many of our properties are centrally placed for day trips to visit the major cities of Malaga, Granada, Cordoba & Seville.
Granada is ideally placed next to the Sierra Nevada mountains for those who want to escape the heat in exchange for a bit of snow and skiing. With 5 months of snow, 61km of slopes, 45 pistes and 6 off-pistes, the mountains above Granada offer the best snow and the best skiing/boarding options in the whole of Spain. Even out of season the Sierra Nevada Mountains hold an idyllic and graceful charm for a family outing in the fresh, clean air.
The Alhambra Palace
The most compelling part of the city is the Alhambra Palace, a 14th century palace and fortress complex built by the Moors during their rule of Granada. The stunning building was once left in a state of disrepair, but a major restoration project was launched in the 19th century, transforming the castle into one of Spain's largest and most important tourist attractions. The whole complex is a stunning mix of gardens, fountains, streams and building, the majority of which are all adorned with Arabic architecture and art. We advise you book tickets online to save long queues in the sun!!!
